MICHAEL ANGELO BATIO To Unveil New Signature Model Guitar At Winter NAMM

June 23, 2006

World-renowned progressive rock guitarist Michael Angelo Batio will unveil his new signature Dean model at the 2007 Winter NAMM show in Anaheim, CA and should be available fall 2006.

Commented Michael: "The body shape and design of my new signature guitar has been finalized. It will not be debuting at the Summer NAMM show but at the Winter NAMM in January of 2007. It should be available though in the fall of this year. The first prototypes are being made now. Here is what I can say about the guitar. It is going to compete with and be a great alternative to guitars like Ibanez. The body style is a double cutaway, very sleek, it has 24 frets and a Floyd Rose, locking trem.

"Sorry for the long wait, but I have been on the road so much this year that it made scheduling design sessions hard."

As previously reported, Michael Angelo Batio's second solo CD, "Planet Gemini", has been remastered with never-before-heard instrumental versions of the songs "So Much to Live For" and "These Four Walls" added. There is also an additional track as well. More information is available at this location.
